There are a ton of films out there that end up broken because of their goofiness. Thor is one of the few that manages to embrace it's comic book roots with arms open and throws a metaphorical hammer into the face of detractors, proudly proclaiming 'yeah I'm a comic book, suck it.'
The image of an insane and 'sort of' naked Anthony Hopkins smiling and punching a small kid in the face will haunt me for years to come. The Rite is a muddled, disturbing, well acted, mess of a movie that somehow manages to work despite itself.
As many may have predicted from various clips or trailers, this film was at the same level of quality of Paul Bettany's last film Legion. Though it has a cool concept and entertaining action sequences, the storyline -- as well as it's cast -- isn't very strong.

The Lonely Island's follow up to Incredibad is not only hilarious it's actually a better music album than it's groundbreaking predecessor. The comedy hasn't taken a hit even though production has improved, making Turtleneck & Chain a better overall record and perhaps one of the best comedic albums of the last decade.
