DC UNIVERSE ONLINE Delayed Until 2011

The hotly anticipated DC Universe Online has been bumped back until early 2011 to make room for more external beta testing to work out the bugs.
The MMORPG, which was expected to hit shelves later this year, is being kicked to the back of the line once more to make sure it won't suck when it gets into your sweaty PC's. The President of Sony Online Entertainment, John Smedley, is blaming the delay on the simple fact that an MMORPG is a pain to make.
"DC Universe Online is the first game of its kind, and a truly massive undertaking -- the first action MMO set in the DC Universe, the first MMO on the PlayStation 3, and the first time the entire DC Universe will be accessible to millions of fans," said Smedley.
If you pre-order the game before November 15th, you will gain access to the beta which starts November 30th - everyone else will get their hands on the demo one week before release.
The collector's edition of the game which was limited to PC, is now going to be sold for the Playstation 3 as well. This package contains a Batman statue, art book, exclusive comic book and poster drawn by Jim Lee.
