Waking up in an empty hospital after weeks in a coma, County Sheriff Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) finds himself utterly alone. The world as he knows it is gone, ravaged by a zombie epidemic. The Walking Dead tells the story of the weeks and months that follow after the apocalypse. Based on Robert Kirkman's hugely successful and popular comic book series.
Actress Laurie Holden, who plays Andrea, has hinted that her character may try to split off from the rest of the group. "Here's the deal - Andrea doesn't want to be there," Holden explained. "She wanted to go within the CDC (explosion)." She also revealed that if she does indeed split from the group, that she may leave with Shane (Jon Bernthal).
"If there is one virile man that's an alpha male that's capable of taking care of himself, why wouldn't she leave with Shane? A pack slows you down, so I think it's a little bit of survival coming out."
