New York Times bestselling author Joe Schreiber is set to release another horror-themed adult novel which expands upon the Dark Side of the Star Wars universe: Red Harvest.
Joe Schreiber's first venture into STAR WARS mythology was writing Death Troopers, the first all-out adult horror novel set in the Star Wars Expanded Universe. StarWars.com has premiered the premise and cover art (by Indika and David Stevenson) to the next installation of his story: Red Harvest. Originally titled Black Orchid, Red Harvest is a prequel to Death Troopers, and is set for release on December 28, 2010.
Strange things are happening in a Sith academy, where the Dark Lord in charge has barricaded himself away, unexplained violence is on the rise, and the apprentices are growing more and more frightened. When a mercenary arrives with a delivery for the Sith Lord – and a hostage Jedi in tow – the situation reaches a boiling point. Only a Jedi Master, looking for the missing Jedi, can hope to get her – and himself – out alive.
