TV's Supergirl from Smallville joins Mark Wahlberg, Mila Kunis, Joel McHale, Giovanni Ribisi and Patrick Warburton in the stuffed animal comedy from the Family Guy creator.

Ted has been described as a movie about a rental car company clerk (Wahlberg) who as a child wished his teddy bear to life, which magically came true. Thirty years later he still lives with the anthropomorphic toy with whom he smokes pot, but has become a strain on potential relationships. At some point in the film the bear becomes famous, which is met as a point of opportunity to the man in hopes of a life of privilege.
Vandervoort will play an attractive co-worker to Wahlberg's character who is unaware of the leering glances coming from the other sales staff.
Ted is scheduled to start filming this month in Boston. As well as directing the film, Seth MacFarlane will voice and do full motion capture for the stuffed title protagonist. This process is said to be similar to the techniques used in Avatar, with a elongated post-production scheduled. As of yet, there is no officially announced release date.

This flick sounds fun, but I just can't find it in me to get behind a Mark Wahlberg movie
