First Look: January Jones as Emma Frost in X-Men: First Class

Several images of from the X-franchise prequel set have appeared online showcasing the Mad Men starlet between takes on the UK film set.

Matthew Vaughn's X-Men: First Class, which predates the previously released X-Men films, tells the story of Charles Xavier (James McAvoy) and Erik Lensherr (Micheal Fassbender) before their respective hero and villain days. Currently filming in the UK, Gossip Cop has revealed the first images of one of the film's main cast members, January Jones, in full costume as Emma Frost; the future White Queen:

Though maintaining the character's white motif, Jones' outfit is much less revealing than her comic counterpart. It is safe to assume Frost will don a variety of costumes in the film; but based off of these images alone it appears the production team is attempting to keep the visceral aspects of the film very much grounded in both the comic book source material and the 1960s setting of the project.
X-Men: First Class is scheduled for theatrical release on June 3rd in the superhero-heavy summer of 2011.

She does not look happy to be there lol. Probably she read the angry fans rants of the films direction. I can't blame her. Atleast she looks fierce and beautiful.

Its just people talk about it all the time, and people what Jon Hamm as either Captain America or Superman and esquire naming Christina Hendricks sexiest woman when I had to actually look up who she was.
@samaritan you might be right about that
What doesn't make sense is how is Emma Frost in this movie when she was in Wolverine? I have noticed a few continuity things from First Class that do not make sense

She's probably upset because of that thing on her head.

Just my opinion, but the 60’s retro looks ridiculous. From the clothes to the Bell H-13 chopper, I just don’t like the feel of it. It feels too kitschy, too gimmicky. I think setting the film in the 1960’s will ultimately distract from the story rather than enhance it. I’m not getting a good feeling from this flick so far.

Ridiculous headgear aside, she looks pretty spot on.
