First Look at NEMESIS, SUPERIOR & KICK-ASS Crossover
Published: November 24, 2010 - 8:46am
Marvel Comics has released a crossover image from Leinil Francis Yu which combines three of Mark Millar's comic book titles, Superior, Kick-Ass and Nemesis, into one banner.

The covers of Kick-Ass 2 #2 Yu Variant, Nemesis #4 Yu Variant and Superior #4 Yu Variant will combine to create the above image.
"People kept suggesting I do a crossover with the Millarworld characters and I kind of loved the idea,” said Mark Millar. “It wouldn't make sense as a story as they all exist in their own distinct universes. But I was talking to Leinil in New York about this a few weeks back and we came up with this idea of spreading the image across three variants, each character touching the front cover of another book and it seemed very exciting. These are my wee babies so to see them all playing together gives me a warm glow. I'm collecting them to form one big image and to have it framed over my desk."

So the "crossover is just the Variant Covers? ok good. I was worried that Nemesis, who is the only villain in a world of heroes, superior who I havent read yet so dont know much about, and Kick-ass, for the most part set in our reality would crash and Burn because of the reason they all work so well. If actual Super-powered beings showed up in Kick-Ass, it would lose a lot of its appeal, to me at least.
But doing this as a way for Yu to stretch the artistic legs as it were, and for collectors is a good idea. It is a nice image.
