All five original members of the seminal 90's pop group Backstreet Boys have reunited in time for their 20th anniversary next April. Kevin Richardson has rejoined the band as they currently record a new album for release in 2013.

The Backstreet Boys are currently in London working with producer Martin Terefe (Mary J. Blige, Jason Mraz). Their new album, which follows up 2005's 'Never Gone' is due for release in Spring 2013. Next April, when the band celebrates it's 20-year anniversary, The Backstreet Boys will be honored with a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in Los Angeles. "We couldn't be happier to have our brother back with us," said Nick Carter on Kevin Richardson's return.
"Being back with my brothers again feels great. I love these guys. We have gone through so much together. We just have a chemistry . . . a bond that will always be." said Richardson.
Members Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, Brian Littrell and A.J. McLean have been touring and recording for a while now but with Richardson's return it marks a full reunion of the original line-up. "Having Kevin back in the mix adds that extra special magic to our group," said Littrell. "We're over the moon to have him back and it's a great way to give back to our fans."
The Backstreet Boys will be joined onstage with Richardson August 31st in Central Park as part of Good Morning America's Summer Concert Series.
