The 25-year-old singer's major label debut 'Born to Die' is selling extremely well but in order to distance herself from the ongoing criticism surrounding her lackluster Saturday Night Live performance, management have postponed her tour while she reconsiders future albums.
Lana Del Rey (real name: Lizzy Grant) has postponed her upcoming tour in support of her 'Born to Die' album, which hit stores late last month. "She was very upset (by the SNL response)," said a source via The Wrap. "They figure it allows time for her to clear her head, then go back to selling tickets. More importantly, they figure, the extra time gives them more distance from ‘SNL.'"

SNL cast member Kristen Wiig spoofed Del Rey recently on SNL (watch that video HERE), causing even more controversy surrounding the singer's quick rise to stardom. With all of the heat on Del Rey's sudden blossoming career, it looks like the singer herself is reconsidering recording new albums in the future. Del Rey spoke with Vogue on the uncertainty of her future in the music business.
"I don’t think I’ll write another record. What would I say? I feel like everything I wanted to say, I’ve said already."
Del Rey also confirmed that 'Born to Die' was written about a past relationship which didn't work out involving one person, much like Adele has also confessed with her material. "Even though I can’t be with that person any more, I still want to honor those memories, " said Del Rey, "I felt like falling in love changed me, neurologically, and the record is about being faithful in my mind to the memory of a particular person."
