GLEE Beats The Beatles for Most Top 100 Singles Of All Time
Published: October 7, 2010 - 10:29am
This week the cast of Glee has now surpassed The Beatles as the group with the most top 100 singles of all time and is nearing the very top of the ladder for all artists in the show's second season.

Glee now has 75 top 100 singles which is the most for a singing group in the Billboard's 52-year history. When it comes to top 10 entries though, The Beatles have a record 34 hits while Glee can only claim one with their cover of Journey's Don't Stop Believin. With the massively popular show just starting it's second season, it looks like it's only a matter of time before they reach the top spot and dethrone The King with the most top 100 singles of all time.
Top 10 artists with the most entries in Hot 100 history:
1. Elvis Presley (108)
2. James Brown (91)
3. Glee Cast (75)
4. Ray Charles (74)
5. Aretha Franklin (73)
6. The Beatles (71)
7. Elton John (67)
8. Lil Wayne (64)
9. Stevie Wonder (63)
10. Jay-Z (61)

The more I think about this the more annoyed I get. At this rate, by this afternoon, I may be homicidal.
Also just found out that my personal hero, Springsteen, has signed on for an episode. The Boss has never sold out in his entire career and now he decides to go on Glee?

If the Glee cast didn't sit down, write their tunes, record them, tour to support them and oh yeah, be an actual band, they don't have [crap]. It's a fuckin tv show.
