TOY FAIR 2013: NECA Announces AFTER EARTH Prop Replicas & Action Figures

From director M. Night Shyamalan (The Sixth Sense, The Last Airbender) comes a new science fiction thriller starring Will Smith and his son Jaden.

A crash landing leaves teenager Kitai Raige (Jaden Smith) and his legendary father Cypher (Will Smith) stranded on Earth, 1,000 years after cataclysmic events forced humanity’s escape. With Cypher critically injured, Kitai must embark on a perilous journey to signal for help, facing uncharted terrain, evolved animal species that now rule the planet, and an unstoppable alien creature that escaped during the crash. Father and son must learn to work together and trust one another if they want any chance of returning home.

NECA has revealed a few items from their upcoming After Earth collectible line which includes a replica figure of Kitai, played by Jaden Smith:

Kitai stands 6.5″ tall and is articulated at the neck, shoulders, elbows, and wrists. Includes movie accurate accessory as well.

After Earth stars Will Smith, Jaden Smith, Zoe Kravitz, Sophie Okonedo, Isabelle Fuhrman, Kristofer Hivju and Daha Mohamed. Sony Pictures has scheduled the film for theatrical release on June 7th, 2013.
