New BEAUTIFUL CREATURES Images Debut; Release Date Moved to Valentine's Day

Beautiful Creatures, based on the first novel in the best-selling series by Kami Garcia & Margaret Stohl, is written and directed by Oscar nominee Richard LaGravenese (The Fisher King, P.S. I Love You).

A hauntingly intense, supernatural love story set in the South, Beautiful Creatures tells the tale of two star-crossed lovers: Ethan (Alden Ehrenreich), a young man longing to escape his small town, and Lena (Alice Englert), a mysterious new girl. Together, they uncover dark secrets about their respective families, their history and their town.

The film stars Alden Ehrenreich (Tetro), newcomer Alice Englert, and Academy Award® winners Jeremy Irons (Reversal of Fortune) and Emma Thompson (Howard’s End, Sense and Sensibility); Oscar nominee Viola Davis (The Help, Doubt); and Emmy Rossum (TV’s Shameless).

The release date for Beautiful Creatures, a presentation of Alcon Entertainment and Warner Bros. Pictures has been pushed one day to Valentine's Day, February 14th, 2013. Along with the announcement Warner Bros. has released new images from the film:
