JUSTIN BIEBER & TAYLOR SWIFT Top 2012 MTV European Music Awards

Both Taylor Swift and Justin Bieber took home three awards each as they topped the winners list during last night's 2012 MTV European Music Awards. This was Swift's first ever appearance at the awards show and she scooped up trophies for 'best female', 'best live act' and 'best look'.

"This is my very first EMA, I'm so excited. This is unreal," said Swift. "This is my first time touring in Europe. Thank you for giving us another reason to come back."

Korean pop sensation PSY took home the 'Best Video' honor for 'Gangnam Style' and even performed the hit live, which featured a cameo from David Hasselhoff sitting on a port-a-potty. Rihanna was the biggest letdown of the evening as she went home empty handed after landing the most nominations for the night at six. Model and Project Runway regular Heidi Klum handled the evening festivities as host.
