First Photos of Bruce Willis on the Set of RED 2
A follow up to the hit 2010 comic book adapted action film RED (Retired and Extremely Dangerous), which follows a group of over-the-hill special ops agents forced out of retirement, is prepping to begin production for theatrical release in 2013
Bruce Willis, Helen Mirren and John Malkovich are returning to reprise their roles as retired black-ops agent Frank Moses and his old team who are trying to stay alive when their former agency wants them dead. RED 2 will reportedly be set in and around Europe. The project recently began filming in Montreal and the first few photos of one of its stars have made their way online:
RED 2 is directed by Dean Parisot (Galaxy Quest, Fun With Dick and Jane) off a screenplay by Battleship writers Jon and Erich Hoeber. Starring Bruce Willis, Helen Mirren, John Malkovich, Anthony Hopkins, Catherine Zeta-Jones, David Thewlis and Byun-Hun Lee have also signed on to star. film is currently scheduled for theatrical release on August 2nd, 2013.
