New Batch of KICK-ASS 2 Set Photos Featuring Hit-Girl, Chloe Moretz & Aaron Johnson

A sequel to the hit comic book based, R-rated action film in prepping to begin production with Jeff Wadlow (Never Back Down) in the director's chair. Kick Ass 2 hits theaters next summer.

Kick-Ass 2, based on the characters created by writer Mark Millar and artist John Romita Jr., follows the title character several months after the events of the last film as he tries to form a team of real life superheroes while concurrently preparing for the arrival of The Red Mist -- an enemy who has been gathering a team of supervillains.

Directed by Jeff Wadlow, Kick-Ass 2 features the return of Aaron Johnson, Chloe Moretz and Christopher Mintz-Plasse in their roles as Kick-Ass, Hit Girl and Red Mist. They are joined by newcomers John Leguizamo, Robert Emms, Morris Chestnut, Donald Faison, Olga Kurkulina Any Nyman and Jim Carrey. Nicholas Cage will reprise his role as Big Daddy, but it has yet to be revealed in what capacity.
