Last week it was reported that a lawsuit by German luxury briefcase manufacturer Rimowa GmbH against Marvel and owner Buena Vista Home Entertainment has curtailed the September release of The Marvel Cinematic Universe - Phase One: Avengers Assembled set due to the set's plastic replica case being an unauthorized "close copy of Rimowa's Topas attaché case."

Amazon.com removed the pre-order option from their site, along with many other retailers who were expecting the item to begin shipping this month. Now, Entertainment Weekly reports that the release has been pushed to an unspecified date in the Spring of 2013, and the design of set will exclude the case that ignited the lawsuit.
