GAME OF THRONES Star Jason Momoa Set to Play Villainous Werewolf in WOLVES

The upcoming fantasy action film will be X-Men screenwriter David Hayter's directorial debut. The project is currently prepping to begin filming next month in Toronto, Canada.

Wolves centers on a young man () who transforms into a werewolf and finds himself on the run after the murder of his parent. He eventually arriving at a small town called Lupine Ridge that has a history of supernatural happenings.

Lucas Till (X-Men: First Class) will play the film's young hero and Jason Momoa (Conan the Barbarian, Game of Thrones) has signed on to play the film's villain, the werewolf patriarch of the Lupine Ridge. Momoa can next be seen starring alongside Sylvester Stallone in the comic book adaptation Bullet to the Head

David Hayter, who the Wolves screenplay as well, is producing the film with Copperhead Entertainment’s Steve Hoban and Entertainment One's Benedict Carver executive producing.

Wolves is tentatively scheduled to be released in theaters sometime next year.
