Sequel to Marvel's THE AVENGERS to Hit Theaters May 1st, 2015

The Walt Disney Studios has announced a release date for Marvel Studios’ sequel to the biggest Super Hero blockbuster and third highest grossing film of all time, Marvel’s The Avengers. Joss Whedon returns to write and direct the UNTITLED MARVEL’S AVENGERS SEQUEL set for release May 1, 2015.

On May 8th of this year, Disney announced that a sequel to Marvel’s The Avengers was in development, which will cap off Phase 2 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe that will also include Captain America: The Winter Solider, set for release on April 4th, 2014, Thor: The Dark World on November 8th, 2013, and Iron Man 3 on May 3, 2013.
