DC Comics Delays BATMAN INCORPORATED #3 Release Till Late August

Decision makers at DC felt that violent content within the upcoming issue would be insensitive due to the recent tragedy in Aurora, Colorado that left 12 people dead and over 50 injured.

Warner Bros and DC Entertainment have opted to delay the release of Batman Incorporated #3 until August 22nd, 2012. The issue was set to be released this Wednesday and several shipments of it have already gone out to stores, but the comic book publisher has asked that distributors hold off on selling it because of graphic imagery within it's story that appears to share similarities with the tragic shooting of movie goers at the midnight release of The Dark Knight Rises in Colorado.

DC Comics artist Chris Burnham released the following statements via his Twitter page to shed light on the decision:
