New DOCTOR WHO Set Photos Featuring Matt Smith, Jenna-Louise Coleman, Diana Rigg & Rachael Stirling

Filming for the seventh series of the longstanding BBC show Doctor Who has been underway since February with Matt Smith returning for to play the iconic sci-fi character.

Doctor Who is the continuing saga of a mysterious time traveler who picks up human companions and faces evil foes with little more than his wits and a sonic screwdriver while he journeys throughout time and space in the TARDIS—a unique craft disguised as a police call box.

In Series 7, Amy (Karen Gillan) and Rory (Arthur Darvill) return for their final, rollercoaster voyage with the Doctor. Amy and Rory have been at the Doctor's (Matt Smith, returning to play the eleventh incarnation of the character) side for more than two series. Jenna-Louise Coleman will play Matt Smith's new companion following the departure of Gillan and Darvill later this year.
