"Fast Five breaks the mold cast by the previous installments in the franchise by transitioning into a proper heist film. All of the Fast and Furious characters from films one through four are back (within continuity, of course); we are also introduced to a fantastic, and fitting, addition to the cast: Dwayne Johnson. Fast Five brings the action that is expected by long time fans while offering just a tad more dramatic elements in it's surprisingly well developed plot. "Conrad Pope’s sweeping score of 18 tracks is a twinkling reminiscent melody of what it must have been like to be in love in the summer of 1956. “Paparazzi” and “Marilyn’s Theme” are two must have tracks that will without a doubt envelop you into this world. Michelle Williams also lends her voice as Marilyn for three tracks. It’s difficult to recreate the well known sultry voice of Monroe, and Williams’ offers a noble attempt.
