Apple Prepares for iPhone 5 Launch Event on Oct. 4

Rumors regarding the secretive unveiling of the new iPhone model and operating system have run rampant over the past several months, and now official word from Apple pegs an early October announcement.

According to Loop Insight, Apple is prepping to officially unveil their much anticipated iPhone platform in only a few days. The outlet published this information today:

"Apple on Tuesday officially announced its iPhone 5 launch event. According to the invitation received by The Loop, the event will be held on October 4 at Apple’s Cupertino, Calif. campus. The event will begin at 10:00 am PT."
