I'm getting a very "Julie Newmar" vibe from these.

A few subtle changes and it looks a bit better. Looks like the "cat ears" flip down to serve some function. It's still little plain (Newmar at least accessorized.), but Hathaway's a great actress, so whatevs.

That head gear is not a good look on Catwoman.

Dang, she looks yummy. Julie Newmar was good, but I preferred Lee Meriwether as Catwoman. She pulled it off without the bling.

Yeah, Lee Meriwether was probably my favorite.

It looks like the "ears" flip down over her eyes. Night vision, I would assume. It is a bit plain, but it looks partially based on the current Catwoman costume, which is a little plain too. Still, I'm sure this will be great though. Hathaway is a great actress and it certainly doesn't hurt that she is gorgeous.

Fucking horrible.
Hey Nolan, dunno if you got the memo... but it's 2011.

Hathaway is a great actress
George Clooney is a great actor and Uma Thurman is quite good as well. You know what they were in. Mwahaha!

Those "ears" and her goggles are one and the same!

Val Kilmer, Tommy Lee Jones and Nicole Kidman aren't too shabby either

I hope there's something more to it than that.
Darkknight FTW
Yea but those movies were run by the toy companies and terrible scripts. And yea, its 2011. Glad to know that...not sure how your comment relates to a costume that we don't know how it will function.

We're simply pointing out that just because Hathaway is a good actress doesn't mean the movie or the character will come across as appealing. Just banter, nothing to it

Yep, I meant it as a joke. Nothing like Batman & Robin to lighten the mood. LOL

I'd say actors/actresses are only as good as the script and director allows, i think we can all agree in this case we're in safe hands!
Would you really expect greatness because it's the EXACT look you wanted, before you seen one single performance from the actor/actress?

Personally I'm not talking about the quality of the film, but my appeal. I haven't seen anything (yet) about TDKR that has me either very excited or very interested in it; from characters to casting to the teaser trailers and poster.

That's fair enough, i'm the opposite everything i've seen and heard about TDKR has me highly excited, i expect this to be as good as (not sure better is possible) The Dark Knight and no worse (not that it is bad, personaly i love it) than Batman Begins.
