Random BLAM! TWO AND A HALF MEN Cast Give Top Ten Reasons Why Viewers Should Watch New Season
Published: September 11, 2011 - 5:15am
Ashton Kutcher, Jon Cryer, and Angus T. Jones appeared on the Late Show With David Letterman and gave their top ten reasons to catch the upcoming ninth season which is set to air on September 19.

Two and a Half Men centers around a hedonistic jingle writer, Charlie Harper; his uptight brother, Alan; and Alan's growing son, Jake. Charlie's free-wheeling life is complicated when his brother gets divorced and moves, along with his son, into Charlie's beach-front Malibu house.
The comedy series which premiered on CBS on September 22nd, 2003 starred Charlie Sheen, Jon Cryer, and Angus T. Jones and has run for eight successful seasons. Earlier this year, CBS and Warner Bros decided to end production for the rest of the eighth season due to Sheen entering drug rehab and making disparaging comments about the show's creator and executive producer, Chuck Lorre.
Ashton Kutcher joined the comedy as Sheen's replacement in the series, and CBS has announced the Two and a Half Men season nine to premiere on September 19.
CBS entertainment president Nina Tassler revealed to press earlier this week that Kutcher's role would be named Walden Schmidt, and that he is "an Internet billionaire with a broken heart.” Though she revealed the new role, she would not confirm or deny the previous claims regarding Charlie Sheen's role being killed off nor did she comment on Schmidt having any relation to the Harper family; only saying "the mystery is in the marketing."
She also stated that the CBS comedy will remain, “smart, funny, irreverent, and as risqué as the show has always been." Also adding, "People who are fans of the show will be really happy, and we feel that show has an opportunity now to recruit a new audience.”
Two and a Half Men stars Ashton Kutcher, Jon Cryer, Angus T. Jones, Conchata Ferrell, Holland Taylor and Marin Hinkle. Created and executive produced by Chuck Lorre and Lee Aronsohn.
