George Clooney, who also wrote and directed the upcoming political drama, stars as Governor Morris who is a candidate in the Democratic Presidential primary elections.

The Ides of March takes place during the frantic last days before a heavily contested Ohio presidential primary, when an up-and-coming campaign press secretary finds himself involved in a political scandal that threatens to upend his candidate's shot at the presidency.

The Ides of March stars George Clooney, Ryan Gosling, Marisa Tomei, and Paul Giamatti star in a film written by Clooney in collaboration with Grant Heslov. The film is scheduled for theatrical release on October 7th, 2011.
