The actress drops some plot details for the highly anticipated fourth season of the motorcycle drama involving club president (Ron Perlman) struggling with losing control of the gang.

FX's original series, Sons of Anarchy, is an adrenalized drama with darkly comedic undertones that explores a notorious outlaw motorcycle club's (MC) desire to protect its livelihood while ensuring that their simple, sheltered town of Charming, California remains exactly that, Charming. The MC must confront threats from drug dealers, corporate developers, and overzealous law officers. Behind the MC's familial lifestyle and legally thriving automotive shop is a ruthless and illegally thriving arms business. The seduction of money, power, and blood.

The fourth season returns to FX September 6th for a 90-minute extended season premiere. Speaking with Entertainment Weekly, Emmy Award winner Katey Sagal revealed that future episodes will see the motorcycle club "splinter" as well as the "internal struggle" of gang leader Clay (Ron Perlman).
"When you're in a motorcycle club, basically, if you can't ride anymore, you can't be the president of the club, and Clay's arthritis is really, really bad. He's seeing his days are numbered. These are people who live off the grid. They don't have retirement funds (and) he's realizing he's gong to have to come up with a bigger plan."
After some revelations at the end of the third season, it looks as though more trouble is on the way for Sagal's character as she mentions an "internal combustion" begins to threaten the present because of her dark past."We learn a little more about the history of John Teller from the letters that have followed us from Ireland. Once again (Gemma) is thrown into chaos."
Sons of Anarchy returns September 6th on FX and stars Charlie Hunnam, Ron Perlman, Katey Sagal, Maggie Siff, Kim Coates, Mark Boone Junior, Tommy Flanagan, Ryan Hurst, Theo Rossi, William Lucking, Dayton Callie, David Labrava, Niko Nicotera, Fernando Andrade, Danny Trejo and Rockmond Dunbar.

Hunnam rocking the short hair - it's weird but he's still a badass. this might be my favorite show on TV aside from TWD. Last season was epic - the best finale of 2010 by far.
