Inspired by the real-life forensic anthropologist and best-selling novelist Kathy Reichs, Bones is a darkly amusing investigative drama centered on Dr. Temperance Brennan, a forensic anthropologist who writes novels on the side. She and FBI Special Agent Seeley Booth take on murder cases that defy the standard methods of identifying a body, requiring Brennan to use her uncanny ability to read clues in victims' bones.

Luke Kleintank has signed on to play Finn Abernathy, a prodigy who earned his college degree at 16. Said to be "brilliant, sweet and a bit rough around the edges;" Finn is also described as "Doogie Howser with Larry the Cable Guy's accent."

Mr. Abernathy's presence is said to cause a bit of controversy amongst Cam and Caroline as Cam is welcoming of the young genius and Catherine is concerned by the young man's spotty background since he earned his degree inside a juvenile detention center.

Luke Kleintank is known for his roles as Elliot Leichter on Gossip Girl and Chris Minor on No Ordinary Family. He's also appeared on Law & Order: Los Angeles, The Good Wife and Parenthood.
