Second GREEN LANTERN Movie Trailer Features More Action-Packed Footage & Story Details

The second theatrical trailer for Warner Bros' Green Lantern, starring Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, Peter Sarsgaard, Mark Strong, Angela Bassett and Tim Robbins, has been released online.

Green Lantern

In a universe as vast as it is mysterious, a small but powerful force has existed for centuries. Protectors of peace and justice, they are called the Green Lantern Corps. A brotherhood of warriors sworn to keep intergalactic order, each Green Lantern wears a ring that grants him superpowers. But when a new enemy called Parallax threatens to destroy the balance of power in the Universe, their fate and the fate of Earth lie in the hands of their newest recruit, the first human ever selected: Hal Jordan.

Hal is a gifted and cocky test pilot, but the Green Lanterns have little respect for humans, who have never harnessed the infinite powers of the ring before. But Hal is clearly the missing piece to the puzzle, and along with his determination and willpower, he has one thing no member of the Corps has ever had: humanity. With the encouragement of fellow pilot and childhood sweetheart Carol Ferris (Blake Lively), if Hal can quickly master his new powers and find the courage to overcome his fears, he may prove to be not only the key to defeating Parallax…he will become the greatest Green Lantern of all.

Directed by Martin Campbell and starring Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, Mark Strong, Peter Sarsgaard, Tim Robbins and Angela Bassett, Green Lantern is scheduled to hit 2D and 3D theaters June 17th, 2011.

This 2 minute trailer is epic (in scope) out of proportion.

Luved Hector Hammond dialouge and the way Peter is portraying him. Amanda Waller was great.

Sinestro Corp symbol came out of nowhere.

Training on Oa was great to watch and see Hal get punched in the face by Kilowog was awesome and show why Hal is probably gonna become an serious GL.

Gonna watch this 8 million times before the movie comes out

I realize Kilowog can't call Jordan a poozer every time he talks to him. I'm just anxious to hear it once or twice in the movie.

who said that wasnt the Sinestro Corp Symbol?..yeah ill wait lol (obviously it wont be called that but itll be known as it) but i was allready going to see this when the 'teaser' came out whether it was good or bad...the WonderCon footage came out and it solidified it....now this trailer pretty much just [crap] on all the other trailers,tv spots....NOW i see why they are putting it infront of THOR...lol..ppl willbe thinking/talkin about it after the movie hahahaha yes....Beware My Power....

Great trailer. The Hall of Oa shots look like they have been tweaked for the better. Flame thrower construct? Interesting but cool. Sinestro and Kilowog 1-2 punch! Awesome!

I am completely sold!!

Yeah, the covered midriff was changed in some of the TV spots too.
