Lindsay Lohan, Lex Luthor & Metallo Rumored to Invade Zack Snyder’s SUPERMAN Movie

The troubled actress is rumored to be up for a supporting and possibly heel role in the upcoming film along side a newcomer as Superman's nemesis. Plus the robotic Metallo may show up as the man of steel’s kryptonite fueled adversary.

Radar Online is reporting Lindsay Lohan’s upcoming audition and also hints at the inclusion of an all time favorite villain in the Superman mythos.

"Lindsay plans to return from New York on Wednesday and meet with producers and read with an actor who is up for the role of Lex Luthor." Said the source close to Lohan.

No official villain has been confirmed for director Zack Snyder’s re-imagining of Superman but various actors including Boardwalk Empire’s Michael Shannon and Édgar Ramírez have been rumored to be up for the task. The site goes on to say that they have "learned fledgling actor Adam Harris, who bears a striking resemblance to Luther, is in the mix and has auditioned multiple times for producers."

MovieNewz is also dropping some rumored plot details for Snyder’s vision of the man of steel and implies that the cybernetic Metallo will do battle with Superman. The cast of the yet-to-be-titled Superman film by director Zack Snyder and producer Christopher Nolan is filling up with solid talent. Henry Cavill nabbed the title role of pop culture's most famous alien and his alter ego Clark Kent, Diane Lane and Kevin Costner will portrya MA and Pa Kent respectively; and it has just been revealed that Amy Adams (The Fighter) has been signed for the role of intrepid reporter Lois Lane.

Charles Roven, Emma Thomas, Christopher Nolan and Deborah Snyder are the producers of the film. The screenplay is being written by David S. Goyer based on a story by Goyer and Nolan. Thomas Tull and Lloyd Phillips are serving as executive producers. The new Superman movie will be distributed worldwide by Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Bros. Entertainment Company.
