THOR Movie Promo Images Offer Another Look at the God of Thunder, Loki, Odin, Sif & The Warriors Three

Hot on the heels of yesterday's character poster reveal, a new batch of artwork and images have gone online via Walmart offering fans more details about the upcoming film's heroes and villains.

Paramount Pictures and Marvel Entertainment present the epic adventure, "Thor," which spans the Marvel Universe from present day Earth to the realm of Asgard. At the center of the story is the mighty Thor, a powerful but arrogant warrior whose reckless actions reignite an ancient war. Thor is cast down to Earth by his father Odin and is forced to live among humans. A beautiful, young scientist, Jane Foster, has a profound effect on Thor, as she ultimately becomes his first love. It’s while here on Earth that Thor learns what it takes to be a true hero when the most dangerous villain of his world sends the darkest forces of Asgard to invade Earth.

Thor stars Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Anthony Hopkins, Natalie Portman, Jaimie Alexander, Stellan Sarsgard, Kat Dennings, Idris Elba, Samuel L. Jackson, Clark Gregg and Ray Stevenson; among others. The film is directed by Kenneth Branagh and is scheduled for 2D and 3D theatrical release on May 6th, 2011.
