UPDATE: The British actress/model, who plays the villain in the not-too-anticipated TV pilot, was spotted on the Los Angeles set of the show which will re-imagine the DC heroine's life.
Wonder Woman is a reinvention of the iconic DC Comics title in which the heroine – AKA Diana Prince – is a vigilante crime fighter in Los Angeles but also a successful corporate executive and a modern woman trying to balance all of the elements of her extraordinary life.
It was announced a few weeks back that Adrianne Palicki (Friday Night Lights, Red Dawn) will star in the title role of Wonder Woman. Tracie Thoms has been cast as a regular, playing Etta the bubbly personal assistant of Diana and Pedro Pascal will play a liaison to the police department who is devoted and loyal to the princess of power. Elizabeth Hurley has signed on to portray the show's villain opposite Palicki, while Cary Elwes will portray the CEO of the company owned by Diana Prince, Themyscira Industries.

Wonder Woman TV has posted an image of the show's revamped logo:

I'll take that bet. $20?

It may get picked up by NBC's daughter network of lost and forgotten shows known as ScyFy. But this is hopefully unlikely.

I hope we are all wrong and this show is excellent. With Smallville ending and No Ordinary Family looking like it isn't being renewed, there is a big lack of superheroes on the small screen. And it would be nice to see a good take on WW. She doesn't always get the spotlight she deserves.

BigbyBadWolf, there is a lack of good heroes on the small screen because the do not translate well with out having to slice and dice or a super huge mega colossal size budget that would dwarf all other high budgeted TV shows in the past. They suck on small screen. I wish they'd quit trying.
