New TRUE BLOOD Promo Vid Offers a Behind-the Scenes Look at Alexander Skarsgard

After several weeks of casting updates and a teaser trailer), HBO has released a new behind the scenes look at the fourth True Blood season.

At Comic Con, Alan Ball hinted that this season they would be including the fan favorite storyline from Charlaine Harris' fourth Sookie Stackhouse novel "Dead To the World," in which Eric gets his mind wiped and becomes completely opposite the person fans have known him to be. This storyline is a beginning point in the Eric/Sookie romance:

"Alexander Skarsgard stated that we would see a new side of the cold enigmatic Eric – a side much more vulnerable and open. Eric will begin to question his actions and his feelings/attitude towards humans; in essence he will suffer a complete identity breakdown. In the wake of such a character shift, Skarsgard stated that Eric will turn to find comfort with a certain someone in Bon Temps (who this someone is was left unanswered, but I’m pretty sure that everyone in the audience collectively muttered ‘Sookie, please – let it be Sookie.’)."

In the new behind the scenes clip, fans get a glimpse of Eric in, what seems to be, the beginning phase of this storyline:

True Blood stars Anna Paquin, Stephen Moyer, Alexander Skarsgard, Ryan Kwanten, Sam Trammell, Rutina Wesley, Deborah Ann Woll, Joe Manganiello, and Nelsan Ellis.
