Without retouches and stuff may look awful, but still I love the design more and more everytime a pic comes up.

Also I can already imagine the kind of captions that first pic is gonna get Mr Green

i just think there is too much blue, but i guess it could have been worse, i don't like the metallic color on the feet i assume its not part of the costume tho.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, it's the dumbest looking costume...Again, just my opinion which ain't worth a hill o' beans, but it's pissing me off every time I see it. I really hope this film takes a [crap] so Marvel gets it back.

That and someone learns not to screw with something iconic.

I would say that they took the same amount of liberties with the Captain America: First Avenger costume.

Yeah they did, but that turned out great thank goodness. In all honesty however, I would love to have seen the actual (however silly it might look onscreen) Captain America suit.

I think the costume looks awesome, can't wait until this comes out and cleans up the mess that Mr Raimi made.

on another note did anyone see the comments Avi Arad made last week about this not being a reboot and that it can fit in to the stories of the previous 3 movies.

My question to him is how in the hell can it, but secondly i hope to god it doesn't tie in at all with the previous movies.

Actually, film stills and the minimates figures for the Captain America movie show that he will have his Classic Tights in the movie. I was speculated afew months ago that the tights would be his suit for a good majority of the film.

The tights are his USO costume, it's not likely that he'll have them for "the majority", mostly just the USO bits, when he goes AWOL to rescue Bucky, he wears a leather jacket, helmet and pants over the tights. You likely won't see him wearing tights in any real action scenes.
