First Look: Four New GREEN LANTERN Movie Wall Posters
Published: February 26, 2011 - 10:17pm
Merchandise manufacturer NECA, who produce licensed collectibles based on movies, television shows and video games, are leading the charge with Green Lantern products; check out their latest batch of items here.

In a universe as vast as it is mysterious, a small but powerful force has existed for centuries. Protectors of peace and justice, they are called the Green Lantern Corps. A brotherhood of warriors sworn to keep intergalactic order, each Green Lantern wears a ring that grants him superpowers. But when a new enemy called Parallax threatens to destroy the balance of power in the Universe, their fate and the fate of Earth lie in the hands of their newest recruit, the first human ever selected: Hal Jordan.
Hal is a gifted and cocky test pilot, but the Green Lanterns have little respect for humans, who have never harnessed the infinite powers of the ring before. But Hal is clearly the missing piece to the puzzle, and along with his determination and willpower, he has one thing no member of the Corps has ever had: humanity. With the encouragement of fellow pilot and childhood sweetheart Carol Ferris (Blake Lively), if Hal can quickly master his new powers and find the courage to overcome his fears, he may prove to be not only the key to defeating Parallax…he will become the greatest Green Lantern of all.
After offering us a first look at their Green Lantern movie product line last week, NECA have revealed more merchandise for the upcoming comic book adaptation -- this time in poster form:

Green Lantern, directed by Martin Campbell, stars Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, Mark Strong, Peter Sarsgaard, Tim Robbins and Angela Bassett. The film is scheduled to hit 2D and 3D theaters June 17th, 2011.

Question: who are the two aliens in the top left and bottom right of the first poster?
Darkneo
That is Isamot I believe in the lower right corner. As for the top left I can't seem to make it out.

Could the top left be Parallax?
The bottom right looks like Gamera.

yeah i have to be honest and say that these posters aren't really doing it for me either, they just don't seem to fit with everything else they have shown to do with the movie, they look cheap and childish, would look awesome on GL cereal if they made it.
lol @ Anthony 3, your right there mate it does look like the gay alien.

That's because these are NOT movie posters. They are merchandise, just like all those posters you see at Walmart or a comic book shop

With the movie coming up soon, I have to say the promo materials have not been that great. These posters are weak. It's Green Lantern for hell's sake. I won't harp on the designer, usually it's the marketing end that fouls things up. The typography is boring, the Photoshop effects are dated and all the super airbrushed images of Ryan Reynolds aren't doing it for me. Everything looks so rushed.
Check these out and tell me the Lantern posters and image materials hold up...

My excitement for the movie is dwindling. I hope the movie pulls it out and proves me wrong. I love Green Lantern! I wish they would've hired this guy to design a few things...

Like Pietro said, these aren't movie posters that we'll see in theaters, these are merchandise, stuff that you'll see kids buying in Wal Mart. I can accept it for that (I won't be buying them). I'll be buying the real movie posters.
Hellboy
they should make them GLOW IN THE DARK
or better yet...
make black light posters!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
