Detailed Images of the TRANSFORMERS: DARK OF THE MOON 'Wreckers' Display at the Daytona 500
Published: February 21, 2011 - 10:40am
Hendrick Motorsports has provided a close-up look at three of the new Transformers from the upcoming film -- Roadbuster, Top Spin and Leadfoot -- that were on display this past weekend at the Daytona International Speedway.

The Autobots, led by Optimus Prime, are back in action, taking on the evil Decepticons, who are determined to avenge their defeat in 2009’s Transformers Revenge of the Fallen. In this new movie, the Autobots and Decepticons become involved in a perilous space race between the U.S. and Russia, and once again human Sam Witwicky has to come to the aid of his robot friends. There’s new characters too, including a new villain in the form of Shockwave, a longtime “Transformers” character who rules Cybertron while the Autobots and Decepticons battle it out on Earth.
Transformers: The Dark of the Moon, starring Shia LaBeouf, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Josh Duhamel, John Malkovich is scheduled for 3D theatrical release on July 1st, 2011; you can watch the new Autobots in action in the latest TV spot for the film:

I wonder what CARS would look like if it had been directed by Michael Bay.

Michael Bay-
"Well you see... Cars is all about the HUMAN element. I think it's a very HUMAN story about these cars and how they bond with their drivers. I think it's obvious that Lightning McQueen was based on Steve McQueen and so I decided to bring those two together and have him be the driver. So what would the would think of Cars that can think and talk? That's the central issue as they make their way through the world........ with LOTS of EXPLOSIONS and sluttty girls, some of whom turn into Cars."

Did I just get a quote DIRECTLY from Michael Bay??? Or was it completely coincidental that the question had already come up?
