First Look at Oliver Platt on the Set of X-MEN: FIRST CLASS in Los Angeles
Published: January 28, 2011 - 10:57pm
Little is known about Platt's role in the film, with the exception of his mysterious title 'The Man in Black,' but now fans get their first look taken during the re-shoots currently underway for the project.

X-Men First Class charts the epic beginning of the X-Men saga, and reveals a secret history of famous global events. Before mutants had revealed themselves to the world, and before Charles Xavier and Erik Lensherr took the names Professor X and Magneto, they were two young men discovering their powers for the first time. Not archenemies, they were instead at first the closest of friends, working together with other Mutants (some familiar, some new), to stop Armageddon. In the process, a grave rift between them opened, which began the eternal war between Magneto's Brotherhood and Professor X's X-Men.
In the past week, anxious X-fans have seen the first cast picture along with several production stills from the film. Hot on the heels of the last big reveal for the film, the first teaser poster, Twentieth Century Fox hi-resolution version of the images containing captions of scene descriptions.
Thanks to MuscleNerd on Twitter, a few more images from the X-set are now online:

Directed by Matthew Vaughn, the film stars James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Rose Byrne, Jones, Kevin Bacon, Nicholas Hoult, Jennifer Lawrence, Caleb Landry Jones, Lucas Till, Edi Gathegi, Jason Flemyng, Oliver Platt, Morgan Lily, Zoe Kravitz, Bill Bilner. It opens in theaters on June 3, 2011.

He's 6'3" tall. At 5'7" McAvoy looks tiny compared to him.
