Over the past several weeks, Green Lantern fans have been inundated with information for movie merchandise. First, Toys'R'Us revealed a limited edition Green Lantern mini-figure and ring, followed by images of Green Lantern Corps aliens Rot Lop Fan and G'Hu; ending with a large scale Hal Jordan toy. In the past few days we've seen new artwork for the film taken from children books featuring Hal Jordan and then Kilowog.

Mattel has just notified toy distributors to make room for more pre-order figures and, though images weren't included, details revealed should be another fan-pleaser:

Krona (INCLUDES PARALLAX PIECE)

Maskless Hal Jordan (INCLUDES BZZZD LANTERN AND DIE CAST COLLECTOR RING)

These are the movie authentic 6” scale figures from the Green Lantern theatrical line. Each figure is highly detailed and articulated.

These are the first of 12 figures available for 2011. Collect all 12 figures and build a 14” Parallax figure!

In a universe as vast as it is mysterious, a small but powerful force has existed for centuries. Protectors of peace and justice, they are called the Green Lantern Corps. A brotherhood of warriors sworn to keep intergalactic order, each Green Lantern wears a ring that grants him superpowers. But when a new enemy called Parallax threatens to destroy the balance of power in the Universe, their fate and the fate of Earth lie in the hands of their newest recruit, the first human ever selected: Hal Jordan.

Hal is a gifted and cocky test pilot, but the Green Lanterns have little respect for humans, who have never harnessed the infinite powers of the ring before. But Hal is clearly the missing piece to the puzzle, and along with his determination and willpower, he has one thing no member of the Corps has ever had: humanity. With the encouragement of fellow pilot and childhood sweetheart Carol Ferris (Blake Lively), if Hal can quickly master his new powers and find the courage to overcome his fears, he may prove to be not only the key to defeating Parallax…he will become the greatest Green Lantern of all.

Green Lantern, directed by Martin Campbell, stars Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, Mark Strong, Peter Sarsgaard, Tim Robbins and Angela Bassett. The film is scheduled to hit 2D and 3D theaters June 17th, 2011.

As you can see in the banner above, Bzz'd is actually gonna be quite large in the movie. About the size of a regular house cat, maybe. Which reminds me, how AWESOME would it be to see Dex-Starr on this?

I'm glad I'm older now so I don't have to give a crap about leaving toys in their packages so I can "put my kids through college someday". Can't wait to put that Parallax figure together. Like an adult! lol

Well, I guess I will need more space on the wall for some of this and more space in my "none blister packed" trunk. Laughing out loud
