WB Updates GREEN LANTERN Movie Website With Hi-Res Images of Sinestro & Tomar-Re
The marketing blitz for the next DC Comics superhero to garner a live-action film has yet to begin, but the studio is slowly giving Green Lantern fans the goods they've been waiting for.
Green Lantern, directed by Martin Campbell, stars Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, Mark Strong, Peter Sarsgaard, Tim Robbins and Angela Bassett. The film is scheduled to hit 2D and 3D theaters June 17th, 2011.
The movie images of Green Lantern Corps members Sinestro and Tomar-Re posted on the site were first seen in the pages of DC Comics (which you can check out HERE and HERE.

I really think Sinestro is the best thing Ive seen from this movie so far. He looks really good

This is the most remarkable live-action interpretation of a comic book character ever. Tomar looks great, but Sinestro is taken right out of the comic book. He looks so good and plain REAL to the comic book art. Sinestro alone makes the film exciting. I hope Hal Jordan delivers as well.

Sinestro's suit has more design to it than everyone else's. Wishful thinking... Hal's costume will improve the stronger his will power becomes. I have no complaints with the CGI's realism though.

Every time I look at Hal's uniform and feel discouraged that it doesn't look "quite right", all I have to do is look at Sinestro's and realize that they can do incredible things and that I have no reason to worry
