Here's a sneak peek at the first official Mattel toy and packaging based on the title character of Warner Bros highly anticipated Green Lantern movie.

Green Lantern

4 inch figurine with numbered Green Lantern symbol stand and wearable movie ring included. Limited Edition of 2814. Available exclusively for preorder at Toys'R'Us starting January 1st, 2011.

Green Lantern, directed by Martin Campbell, stars Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, Mark Strong, Peter Sarsgaard, Tim Robbins and Angela Bassett. The film is scheduled to hit 2D and 3D theaters June 17th, 2011.

No way! The energy spark veiny stuff is how you know he's been drinking POWER THIRST and he's ready to blow a green load of WILLPOWER all over the screen with his ENERGY RING!

I kinda like it. It looks better than the costume does in the movie. I'm probably going to buy it. It looks like it comes with a power ring. I'm going to wear it sometimes when no one else is around and feel all spiffy.

I have a feeling that the actual finished figure will look much better (notice the distinct differences between the one in the box and the one on the stand). Regardless, this is definitely going into my "Hal Figure collection" at work Big Grin

Also, very much want that ring!
