First Trailer Sets Sail for PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: ON STRANGER TIDES
Walt Disney Pictures has released the first trailer for Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, the fourth installment of the popular franchise starring Johnny Depp, Ian McShane and Penelope Cruz.
Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) crosses paths with a woman from his past (Penelope Cruz), and he’s not sure if it’s love–or if she’s a ruthless con artist who’s using him to find the fabled Fountain of Youth. When she forces him aboard the Queen Anne’s Revenge, the ship of the formidable pirate Blackbeard (Ian McShane), Jack finds himself on an unexpected adventure in which he doesn’t know who to fear more: Blackbeard or the woman from his past.
Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides is scheduled for 2D and 3D release in May 2011. The film is directed by Rob Marshall and stars Johnny Depp, Penelope Cruz, Ian McShane, Geoffrey Rush, Kevin McNally, Astrid Bergès-Frisbey, Sam Claflin, Stephen Graham, Yuki Matsuzaki and Gemma Ward.

VERY cool. Reminds me of the quirkiness of the first one with the sense of adventure of the 2nd One. Plus that music just makes you want to grab a bottle of rum and set sail! REALLY looking forward to this.But Ian McShane doesn't really look that menacing

After the first one, the other's we're really bad. The first really didn't blow me back either. But this one, for some reason, looks like a good romp. Maybe because they have a new director at the helm (pun intended).

Yes. Keith is reprising his role as Jack's father. I suppose that people (one of such people is myself) enjoyed his small performance in the 3rd film so much that they (we) wanted him back.
