First Theatrical Poster Released for I AM NUMBER FOUR

Dreamworks Studios has unveiled the first poster for their upcoming science fiction adaptation, which is based on The New York Times bestselling novel by Jobie Hughes and James Frey.

I Am Number Four tells the story of a group of nine earthbound aliens who escaped their planet just before it was annihilated by a rival species. Hiding out on Earth, disguised as a human teenager in high school, the title character discovers that he is being hunted by the enemy that destroyed his homeworld.

Number Four (Alex Pettyfer), also named John Smith, moves to Paradise, Ohio, disguised as an American high school student. He makes a friend, Sarah (Dianna Agron), a sweet Midwestern girl who is a photographer. After being on the run his whole life, Number Four falls in love and now has something to stand up and fight for.

I Am Number Four stars Alex Pettyfer (Number Four, John Smith), Timothy Olyphant (Henri), Teresa Palmer (Number Six), Dianna Agron (Glee) and Kevin Durand (The Commander). It is due out February 18, 2011.
