Kevin Smith Unveils RED STATE Poster
Published: November 1, 2010 - 6:27pm
Kevin Smith has released the first teaser poster for his horror film Red State and also talks some more about his film and how much of a struggle it's been to get this beast made.
"You do a movie like Red State because you love it; everyone’s there because they wanna be there; there’s not a one of those disgusting, soul-f*****g paycheck players in the mix. Passion calls us all together, love of what we’re doing/saying bonds us, and the film is the result; the movie’s a love child.
And sometimes, that love-child turns out to be a f*****g Jedi" said Smith on his website.
He went on to to say that the low-budget flick which he just finished shooting and editing for $4,000,000 is near completed and runs 92 minutes long without credits. He said that his cast and crew actually watched the movie during the wrap party. Smith directed and edited Red State himself. Check out the poster below which Smith has dubbed "The Holy Ghost."

Looks like it was in a dumpster maybe because it's crap. This poster sells nothing and comes off more as a joke. I don't see any "passion" in this high school poster.

I believe the movie will brings Kevin Smith back to his roots when he first helm Clerks back in 95'. He was ripped for doing Cop Out; it wasn't "his" movie to say because he didn't wrote it, I say I'm excited for Red State.
