AMC has released new footage from their highly anticipated series The Walking Dead, which premieres worldwide this Halloween night.

Based on the popular comic book series by Robert Kirkman, The Walking Dead chronicles the travels of Rick Grimes, a small-town police officer from Cynthiana, Kentucky, his family, and a number of other survivors who have banded together in order to survive after the world is overrun with zombies.

The six episode first season of The Walking Deadbegins on October 31st, 2010, on AMC.

Pretty Eerie and suspenseful! though i'd always figured the intro would be a sweet country song, to act as kind of a contrast to the subject matter and things of that nature!
P.S in that pic on top, is the pic on the left from the comic or just a sketch of the picture on the right? if it's from the comic, then they did an awesome job keeping the show true to the source material!
