Mel Gibson Rumored to Appear in HANGOVER 2

The Hangover 2 is filming in Los Angeles currently and rumor is that Mel Gibson may join the cast before they head out to Thailand at the end of the month.

Yesterday came news that Heather Graham will not be in the sequel. There were also some rumors from that same piece that Tiger Woods could have a cameo but that rumor could be the result of some quotes taken out of context.

Sasha Barrese, who plays Justin Bartha's wife in the movie, did reveal that someone "unbelievable" is making a very unexpected cameo. "It's the best cameo you've ever seen in your entire life," she said. "It's a guy, [but] that's all I'm going to say. It's the best." According to a source at the New York Post's Page Six that "unbelievable" person will be Mel Gibson, who is looking for a makeover of his own career after a very tumultuous and public ordeal this Summer.

"It's a done deal. Mel will make a cameo as a tattoo artist. Filming is taking place on the Warner Bros. lot, where a Bangkok set has been built, and Mel is expected to film his role in two weeks. Then the production moves to Thailand at the end of October."

The actor/writer/director still has a very dark comedy, The Beaver, in the can co-starring Jodie Foster. Due in large part to Gibson's current scandals, it has not found a release date yet.
