Sinestro Corps War was epic. One of the best crossover/mini-events I've ever read.....

Sinestro Corps War is so far, my favorite, it's just so epic, I'd say even more epic than Blackest Night/Brightest Day.

I only read trades, so I haven't read Blackest Night yet - I'm always about 6 months behind current continuity....

Blackest Night was good, but surprisingly didn't have as much impact for me as SCW did. Maybe it's because SCW was the right scope, and didn't drag too much of the rest of the DCU in.

Same here the only thing that sucks is being like a year behind. But the paperbacks are good.

Is Green Lantern Corps as good as the Green Lantern one?

If you like the characters featured or the mythos. I compulsively buy all the GL titles Tongue it's all one big story to me, sometimes I forget which title I'm reading Tongue

I like the Green Lantern Corps more than the main GL title sometimes. I like the "side" characters like Kilowog and Kyle Rayner being able to get some page time in Green Lantern Corps - it's a good complimentary title for GL. I agree with John that it's like reading one big title, although Emerald Warriors hasn't hit trades yet, so I can't comment on that one.

I'll try it out, Green Lantern is quickly becoming a fave of mine. I've been liking Marvel less and less lately.

Emerald Warriors is pretty good so far, I'll let you know how today's issue goes Tongue

Green Lantern is the best title DC puts out in my opinion....it's actually the only one I read of theirs Big Grin I'm going to start reading the Geoff Johns Flash run when it hits TPB though. Other than that, I'm a Marvel guy pretty hardcore....I love the Captain America/Iron Man/Thor runs of the past couple of years - and I dig the big events that Bendis puts together.....but GL is pretty damn good. DC would be in the gutter without Geoff Johns right now....

I think I'm going to start doing the flash monthlies, I got a bunch from a very special place, so I feel that I have an obligation now Tongue

Everyone should be reading Green Lantern and related books. Flash is good too.

Emerald Warriors was pretty good, not much action in this issue, but we're learning more about the mission that Guy is on, and we're getting closer to learning the identity of the hooded midget.
