Ryan Reynolds to Write Green Lantern Intro

DC Comics has announced that Ryan Reynolds will be writing the introduction for the new printing of the Green Lantern: Secret Origin trade paperback.

Reynolds, the star of the upcoming Green Lantern film, will be introducing readers to the origin of Hal Jordan, as told by Geoff Johns.

Ivan Reis, the artist for the Secret Origin run, has provided the new cover for the collection, which will hit stands in 2011 as part of the promotion of the film. For more coverage on the Green Lantern film, click HERE.

I just finished reading the already-released version of this TPB 2 nights ago. Gonna blog a review for it in a couple of days I think. Makes sense for them to release this as a movie prep - good jumping on point for new readers, with just enough stuff for old readers to be interested too.....

Already have this in 2 different versions but I can't wait to stand in my comic shop and read the new intro while Comic Book Guy leers at me as if to say "this ain't a library buddy, you gonna read that or buy it"?
