Based off of the hit American television series., the film follows four American, Special Operations soldiers are sent on a mission in Iraq to recover printing plates that were used to counterfeit a billion dollars. After accomplishing their objective and returning to their base an explosion kills their commanding officer while the plates are mysteriously stolen. The team is found guilty in a court martial and sent to separate prisons. Six months into their sentence, their leader, Hannibal Smith is visited by a CIA spook who can furnish him with intelligence regarding the real theft of the plates, which will lead to their freedom. The only catch is that Hannibal and his team must recover the plates themselves, once escaping from prison.
