Bella once again finds herself surrounded by danger as Seattle is ravaged by a string of mysterious killings and a malicious vampire continues her quest for revenge. In the midst of it all, she is forced to choose between her love for Edward and her friendship with Jacob -- knowing that her decision has the potential to ignite the struggle between vampire and werewolf. With her graduation quickly approaching, Bella is confronted with the most important decision of her life.
After Bella recovers from the vampire attack that almost claimed her life, she looks to celebrate her birthday with Edward and his family. However, a minor accident during the festivities results in Bella's blood being shed, a sight that proves too intense for the Cullens, who decide to leave the town of Forks, Washington for Bella and Edward's sake. Initially heartbroken, Bella finds a form of comfort in reckless living, as well as an even-closer friendship with Jacob Black. Danger in different forms awaits.
Bella Swan has always been a little bit different. Never one to run with the crowd, Bella never cared about fitting in with the trendy, plastic girls at her Phoenix, Arizona high school. When her mother remarried and Bella chooses to live with her father in the rainy little town of Forks, Washington, she didn't expect much of anything to change. But things do change when she meets the mysterious and dazzlingly beautiful Edward Cullen. For Edward is nothing like any boy she's ever met. He's nothing like anyone she's ever met, period.
Kevin Smith's new horror movie is being self-promoted, independently distributed and is touring the U.S. ahead of its October 19th release. Most stops on the tour include a Q & A with Kevin Smith, and the most recent caused a bit of controversy.
The celebrity magazine's annual list is out and three directors who made the 2009 top ten have returned along with two others who didn't make last year's list at all. Women failed to crack the top echelon once again while Iron Man, a Werewolf and a Pirate Captain did.
The upcoming action-thriller also stars Michelle Monaghan & Vera Farmiga. Directed by Duncan Jones (Moon) and written by Ben Ripley (Species III), Source Code is scheduled for release April 15th, 2011.
Unfortunately, everything about this film felt forced as though it was a mimicked version of Twilight -- minus the vampires -- shaken up and regurgitated onto the screen.
The plot is straightforward and simple: werewolf starts a killing spree, town folk try to handle the situation themselves (which inevitably backfires) which leads to them calling in a werewolf hunter who turns out to be a psychopath. In the mean time there's a huge mystery surrounding who the werewolf actually is and why it has taken an interest in Seyfried's character.
An assessment of Jurassic Park: Devils in the Desert #3's quality is really dependent on the author's intent. Being that I don't reside in John Byrne's frontal lobe, I'll have to go with my own perceptions. With that in mind, the comic becomes an entertaining and often laugh out loud experience in the vein of such films as Troll 2 and Lethal Ninja (Watch them now!).
The latest issue of the popular movie magazine will focus on Marvel Studios' two big-budget superhero films and features the God of Thunder on it's cover. Thor is scheduled for 2D and 3D theatrical release on May 6th, 2011.
I think we should probably hand out an award for most deceiving movie trailer of all time. Battle: Los Angeles has some fantastic moments of chaotic action. The only problem is that it doesn't stop and ends up more annoying than watching some kid with shaky hands play a first person shooter videogame for 2 hours.
The always in demand writer/producer/director is constantly juggling multiple projects and at a recent event with Dreamworks Animation, where he was hired as a creative consultant last year, he talked about his near future directing possibilities.
