Watching the 1987 G.I. Joe animated film as an adult, I found the adulation of my childhood mainstay turned to laughter at the enthusiastic chant of “COBRA-LALALALAL!” The franchise itself is just that: an absurd comedy based within the politically correct inspired stereotyping and unabashed optimism of the 80s. Citing personal reasons, the director has pulled out of helming the sequel to X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Fox and star Hugh Jackman state they are still "fully committed to making Wolverine and will move aggressively to find a new director."
Shooting on location in Miami, Florida the new Charlie's Angels TV series will stay closer to the recent films than the iconic television show from the 1970's. The series will focus on solving a different crime every episode instead of a continuing story throughout the series.
