I will give credit where credit is due. David Bowie released a rock album at 66 years of age. 'The Next Day' is also his 24th studio effort and there aren't many signs here that Bowie has slowed down in any way. It's Bowie -- it's glamorous, it's fashionable punk rock and it's sort of strange in a hip sort of way so that when you tell your friends that you like it, you'll automatically boost your intelligence points in the process.
